Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use SpoolProfit. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use SpoolProfit.

The service

SpoolProfit helps 3D-print sellers estimate costs, research products, write listings and understand the profit of their Etsy shop. Features may change as we improve the service.

Your account

You need an account to use SpoolProfit. Keep your login details safe; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms.

Connecting Etsy

When you connect your Etsy shop, you allow SpoolProfit to read your shop data and, when you click Apply, to update your listings. You remain responsible for your shop and for following Etsy's own terms and policies. You can disconnect at any time. The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

Estimates, not advice

Profit, cost, fee and market figures are estimates based on the data available, including estimated production costs where you haven't entered your own. Check important decisions yourself. SpoolProfit does not give financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and the License Vault is a record-keeping tool, not a judgment on whether you may sell a design.

AI features

AI-generated listings, rewrites, photos and summaries can be wrong or unsuitable. Review them before you publish anything, and make sure your listings are accurate and that you have the rights to what you sell.

Plans and billing

  • The Free plan is free and has the limits described on our pricing page.
  • Pro is a subscription billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe, and renews automatically until you cancel.
  • New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. A payment method is needed to start it, and you won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
  • You can cancel any time from Settings; Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments are not refunded for partial periods unless the law requires it.
  • If we change prices, we'll tell you before the change applies to your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse SpoolProfit: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people's data, resell it, or use it to break the law or Etsy's rules.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add to SpoolProfit. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.

Ending your account

You can stop using SpoolProfit and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

SpoolProfit is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or sales, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use SpoolProfit means you accept the updated terms.
